Matchstick Men - Nicholas Cage

Matchstick Men is the story of Roy (Nicolas Cage), a man with a pretty bad case of OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). This means he spends a lot of time cleaning, smoking, opening and closing things a set number of times, and just generally being an annoying spaz. Matchstick men was a movie made in 2003 about a guy named Roy who has OCD. Roy is a con artist who works with a guy named Frank.

Matchstick Men is the slang term given to conmen and scam artists. Conmen like Roy, (Nicholas Cage), a man who, despite suffering from an obsessive compulsive disorder and agoraphobia, has perfected the art of the scam. Matchstick Men is a very good DVD but only a sporadically compelling film. Matchstick Men 's story concerns the change in Cage's character's life once he discovers he has a 14-year-old daughter. Things get pretty predictable as his tics begin to go away as he starts showing concern for her, focusing on her instead of the fuzz on his carpet or leaves in his pool.

Matchstick Men is original and is a key word when it comes to me, some cheesy parts but it's almost automatic now a days. Definitely worth a rental and might be a movie I'll consider purchasing used on DVD. Matchstick Men combines three main plot elements beautifully. The three main actors (Lohman is 24 years of age!) are fascinating. Matchstick Men is a dazzling literary con game that will keep readers guessing until the last page.

MATCHSTICK MEN easily nestles itself into the great category. Of course, like all of the above films, you need to loosen your imagination a smidgen when watching films like this as it'll be hard to believe, even in a movie, that such an elaborate and precise plan could go off without even the slightest hitch. Matchstick Men seemed to fit his needs perfectly (incidentally, production on Tripoli would hit a snag and Scott would eventually have to leave the film). Matchstick Men is nothing more than an above-average character drama with some fun twists, some great character acting by everyone involved - including Bruce McGill - and a sharp, stylish look. What more do you need, really?

Brooke White - the success story

Brooke White will be missed by people. Her openness and sincere passion for putting herself out there is rare. Brooke White was beaten down by the judges or she would still be on Idol. She is already a star and they knew it. Brooke White (born 1983, Mesa, Arizona) is an American singer and a top 12 finalist on the seventh season of American Idol. White worked as a nanny prior to auditioning for Idol.

Brooke White is going to be one of the success stories when the show is over even if she doesn’t win. She’s already selling well on iTunes, and I don’t see that stopping anytime soon as Brooke White has chosen the right songs to showcase her unique vocals. Brooke White has her bachelor's of the fine arts degree from Alfred University and her master's of the fine arts degree from Cornell. Brooke has shown her photographs and video installations at more than twenty-five shows and exhibitions nationally and internationally.
